Rumble at the Gates

Kago Minu wrote:
Kago's Kitty soared through the air before crashing into the nearby bushes.

Slowly, a rage filled Kago from deep with in, she had never felt such a rage before; but knew it was violent in intent. Some Toddler had speed right in and kicked her kitten. Already on a short fuse, the kicking of her kitten tipped Kago into her breaking point. Gripping her Rapier firmly, she struggled she drew it from its sheath; while drawing 3 senbon in the other hand.

Quickly she tossed the senbon at the newcomer to get her attention. With a low, barely contained growl; Kago spoke.

"I suggest you kindly go get my kitten from those bushes over there. Now. Or I could always kill you. Your choice. Though honestly, you deserve an ass kicking at the very least." Growled Kago.

Of course she was fine with everyone else in the clearing, especially Sensai Niwa. In fact, the only person she currently had hatred for was this new girl. After all, she had deliberatly kicked her kitten. And even if it hadn't been Kago's kitten, the girl had still punted a poor and defenceless kitten. She deserved at least an ass kicking. Turning to Niwa she spoke.

"Sensei Niwa, If this turns violent, please don't jump in. I know you could probably kill all of us in your sleep if you wished... But this is between me and that toddler who just punted my poor and defenceless kitten. I probably won't kill her, but she won't be getting back up any time soon; atleast not on her own." Kago stated calmly

In truth Kago was a little afraid of her new Sensei. But if she died defending her kitten, or any other helpless creature from sadistic and uncalled for harm; she would at-least die abiding by her morals.

Aki thought it strange that the taller girl was defending her kitten like it was a human being. Aki did all she could to swallow the laugh that was trying to come. It was not nice of the smaller girl to kick a kitten which hadn't done anything to her and was defenseless. But it was funny, anyways.
Aki stayed calm and expressionless the best way she could.
She had noticed her sister standing a few meters away. Aki now thought that it was a mistake telling her sister that they were meeting here. Apparently the taller girl was here because she had received the message. Maybe her sister hadn't gotten it.
Aki looked at her sister and offered a kind smile, but her sister seemed to be staring at her hand. Aki wondered what it was and looked at her hand. Blood. Maybe Hibiki's. Just a little dot, but still.
Aki quickly wiped it with her shirt. Ugh, the smell...

Aki noticed the smaller girl watching her and her sister's hair. She smiled at her. She always had wanted to be blond, but she thought it no longer mattered.
The taller girl said something directed to Sunaku Niwa and she was looking angry.
Please no blood, the smell... Ugh... She pleaded in her mind but she didn't say it aloud. Her sister didn't knew that weakness so she kept it to herself.

Ayachi Takeo wrote:
“Whoever is here for classes get your happy selves over here!”

Takeo perked his head up. It wasn't often that there were lessons outside of Konoha's gates. The command was obviously directed at him. Along with himself, there seemed to be a few other individuals that instantly contrasted themselves from the crowd as if they had changed color upon this sensei's command. He was guessing that these would be the classmates.

And then of course, there was the sensei herself. It was strange. There was nothing present to discern this person in any way from your average female, yet something felt amiss. Perhaps this kunoichi withheld some bloodline that Takeo was subconsciously sensing.

"If you're not here before I have the gates opened then you're not going so better hurry up! Oh ya Hirosue get over here this is no time for sleeping...and why do you have a...never mind..."

Takeo didn't much mind for who this Hirosue was, but he would have to quit moping around and hurry to the sensei if he was planning on attending. The teacher seemed a bit more eager and sunshiny than Takeo's general exposure, but the amount of viable ninja personalities was perhaps the broadest of all occupations and Takeo would have to be at least tolerant of all of them.

Takeo approached the person he now knew was the teacher.

"Hello, I am Ayachi Takeo and I will be participa-"

Takeo's introduction was cut short. His attention was caught by a kitten flying limply through the air. Not a common occurrence. Needless to say that Takeo was utterly dumbfounded. Takeo was not very fond of cats. As a matter of fact, he basically hated them as pets. They were self-serving creatures that attacked anything that moved, including fingers, toes, and legs. However, Takeo also had a big enough respect for animals to be disgusted by any form of abuse at that degree.

Tracing the source back to the perpetrator of the crime, Takeo saw the same little girl he saw before with foot still high in the air. Either she was doing a cheer leading routine at a completely inconvenient time, or she had just punted that kitten for no good reason besides being a naive kid who didn't understand how to behave with animals. Probably the latter.

The girl then ran up to the instructor and simply stated,

"Konichiwa."

The greeting would generally be an acceptable greeting if not a bit brief. But the fact remained that the girl had just kicked a cat almost thirty times its own body length into a bush. Takeo raised his eyebrows in the same manner that his mother would when he had just done something stupid. A surprised and angry expression. Perhaps this was the same feeling that his mother had at those times.

Takeo, who was standing nearby the girl at the time, instinctively jumped back as a senbon shot at the girl who had just punted the kitten. Takeo didn't have to look up to know that the cat's owner was the source, though perhaps a homicidal eco-friendly ninja had followed him here after all. He was naturally compelled to look up anyway, and sure enough, there stood the same girl who only moments before had proclaimed that any person who harmed the animal would receive capital punishment. At least the girl was honest, as she was already situated to kill anyone who got in the way.

"I suggest you kindly go get my kitten from those bushes over there. Now. Or I could always kill you. Your choice. Though honestly, you deserve an ass kicking at the very least. "Sensei Niwa, If this turns violent, please don't jump in. I know you could probably kill all of us in your sleep if you wished... But this is between me and that toddler who just punted my poor and defenseless kitten. I probably won't kill her, but she won't be getting back up any time soon; at least not on her own."

What the hell was this girl doing? Perhaps she had failed to notice the fact that her small kitten was kicked with enough blunt force trauma to K.O. many small dog breeds. Had she no sense of priority? By Takeo's standards, the acts of the small girl in kicking a kitten were of juvenile stupidity, but the actions of this older... Kago Minu... as she called herself were disgusting to him.

She, the one who was meant to care for this kitten and love it enough to kill someone over it was simply doing the killing part. And there the cat remained in the bushes, injuries unknown to anyone. It could very well have had a broken rib cage or internal bleeding assuming it wasn't already dead from the initial kick. If an owner of a pet were to show any compassion for an animal, then they would probably seek medical help first, which this kitten almost certainly needed. In the time it would take this girl to K.O. the kitten kicker, the kitten may have already died when it could have been rushed to a med-nin.

So what was this cat to this girl? Was it a pet that she cared for or simply an excuse by which she could commence massacre? What were her priorities as a shinobi?

Takeo would not get involved. At least not directly. Unnecessary conflict would be uncalled for by Takeo. Entangling himself in the middle of this little mess that had occurred just as the sensei had attempted to form a friendly group would be a bad idea, both because it would show him to be an entirely confrontational person, and because getting in the middle of a fight looks really stupid in front of a teacher. Takeo was definitely not the type to go trigger happy, which placed him one up from this Minu girl as of now.

Still, this conflict was one that Takeo wished to halt. It was Takeo's wish to end this quickly and focus issues on what was actually important, which was an animal that was very likely terminally wounded. Perhaps he'd show that non-confrontational methods could often be the best at getting a point across. If reminding the girl of what was important did not wake her up from instantly turning to violence, there would be very little chance that she would be a good shinobi or even live past 16 for that matter.

As silently as possible, and without changing his neutral facial expression, he made his way towards the bush that harbored the now injured kitten. Under normal circumstances, the kitten probably would have been overly aggressive and violent towards a stranger trying to handle it, a trait in all cats and a trait that he was sure this one would have if it had picked up any personality from its owner.

However, considering the amount of blunt force the animal had just sustained, it would probably be as close to an inanimate object as a (hopefully) living creature could get. He wouldn't have to worry about it clawing him, or at least not seriously injuring him seeing as he could incarcerate the kitten with the palm of his two hands. And of course, if he was able to do that, he'd hand the kitten back to Kago Minu and let her do what was appropriate with it. It would have to at least keep her from fighting which was just what the situation needed.

In disgust Kago slammed her Rapier back into its sheath. She would have her fight, but now was not the time. Now considerably calmer, she spoke to the girl.

"If it weren't for Niwa putting so much time and planning into this lesson, I would kill you here. But, your death will have to wait. Until we get to the ruins that is. Then I shall punish you. Is it your shinobi way to harm the week and defenceless? Is that how you want to be known?" She ask the girl calmly.

There was something particular about the little girl. She had felt such an oddness in one other person before, a dark almost demonic aura perhaps? It didn't matter, demonic or not; there were no excuses.

Kago watched as a boy went into the bushes and retrieved her kitten. He then handed it back to Kago. She was over whelmed by a sense of guilt. Why had she not rushed to the kittens aid? Rage. Rage was her problem. Ashamed she spoke to the boy.

"I'm so ashamed... I was enraged, and completely forgot about my kitty's possible injuries... Wow, I'm truly am blind to my surroundings when in combat..." She explained.

Flipping the kitten over gently, she found its pulse. It was alive. Next she felt around the kitten gently, and found that some how he hadn't broken any bones from the toddlers kick. Taking a small healing elixir out of her belt pouch, Kago quickly helped the unconscious kitten to drink about half of the elixir.

Slowly, the kitten stirred and licked Minu's face. All would be alright, the kitten was fine. Kissing the kitten softly, Kago slowly tucked it into her top. Putting the rest of the Elixir back into her belt pouch she turned to the boy and kissed him on the cheek. Then spoke.

"Thank you, you may have just saved my kittens life!" Said Kago

Little Hirosue's little belly grumbled in hunger.
Not even noticing the tall girl shouting in anger.
Little Hirosue wasted no time to even wait.
Seriously craving now for a chocolate.

Little Suweh stood close beside the sand clone.
Opening her backpack, she ducked a senbon.
Little Suweh rummaged inside her stuff fast.
Just as another flying senbon went right past.

Little Hirosue found her pack of chocolate.
Fearing it melted, hoping it wasn't too late.
Little Hirosue whistled a merry joyful tone.
Just as the last senbon hit the sand clone.

Little Suweh munched on with delight.
Yet she noticed, something was not right.
Little Suweh saw the clone with three long needles.
Can't help herself now, bursting into giggles.

Little Hirosue turned her head to see a couple kissing.
Blinked her eyes shut, tried hard to stop blushing.
Little Hirosue opened her eyes and smiled at her friend.
Saya, the teddy bear, her own little baby to tend.
