Did I Passed?

Kashiwa Amatsu wrote:
"Better luck next time, huh?", Amatsu thought sourly. That was the same thing she'd heard when she failed the very first MiT exam she had attempted. She glanced backwards to look at Hirosue and Hibiki, to see how they were faring, before walking over to her seat and sitting down. She kept a placid look that showed nothing more than a shadow of the determination she had had on her face, when Kami was putting her in the hot seat. Beyond that, nothing else showed.

Gently, she drummed her hands on the side of her seat, watching as Kami released the Genjutsu on Hibiki, wondering whatever Kami planned on doing next. She did not wish for him to assault her with any more questions, though; they were enough for one day.

I opened my eyes slowly as I finally got a view of my actual surroundings. I was looking up at the roof of the original room we were in and that was confirmation enough to prove that I had been trapped in a genjutsu. Either way I was free now and so I quickly sat up and felt pain surge worse through my body when I did so. I was no longer in the genjutsu and as so moving around caused pain. After all from the looks and feel of things I was pretty badly banged up. That damn Kami! To do something like this! Either way it seemed that someone had also taken the time to fix me up and so I was bleeding all over the place. Either way I noticed the cast on my arm and figured it was time I at least make that functional.

I slowly removed the make-shift cast from my arm and felt the pain increase slightly as I did so. After that I began to use my bone extraction ability to remove all of the broken or fractured bones in my body and replace them with properly working ones. Finally the bones were out and I felt a amount of relief move through my arm although it was still in a large amount of pain from not only having the bones moved and broken but also from the original crushing of the muscles. It would take awhile for that to heal but at least that was over. I then wiped the blood off my arm from using the bones extraction ability and then turned my view over to Kami. It seemed things had been calmed down for now at least and I didn't want to get up for no reason.

It seemed the time had come, Hibiki had been released from the grasp of the surreal, Suweh faced no more opposition as her bull charge managed to destroy the last mud clone, and Amatsu was quietly awaiting the coming. Turning Kami mentally arranged each of them in alphabetic order.
-Izanami Hirosue
-Kashiwa Amatsu
-Kiyokawa Hibiki

So it was set, he would tell them whether they passed or failed based on the order in which they arrived. But first they would need to leave right?

"Would you all please stand outside the room? I will call you in one by one and tell you if you passed or failed.

...Oh hint, one person here will not be an MiT after today."

After all of them left, Kami began to think of how he was going to approach this. He knew who failed by now, his form of judgment upon his students was a bit twisted but his say was final in the matter. He was a bit bummed by Amatsu's reaction, pranks were no fun when the victim refused to react! Maybe he would fail her after all.

Hibiki was extremely smart for his age, with training he could be a magnificent Medic. Suweh too impressed Kami with her determination to defend Hibiki. She would tap into forbidden powers, fight hand to hand with a group who together was stronger than her, just to make sure Hibiki got out without a scratch.

The moments of hesitation that were once decorated with subliminal thoughts soon faded and Kami looked up at the now closed door. Clearing his throat he began the final game.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Izanami Hirosue."

When she walked in he offered a smile, though it seemed that her innocence was tainted by the somewhat darkness within her, Kami out of all the people knew that darkness was only a notion. He would make sure Suweh was never consumed by evil, never shrouded by blackness, as long as he lived.

"Meow Meow Chan! Guess what, you passed! Now go home and tell Aunt Katzumi to buy you some books on medicine. Try to read through them as much as you can, and if you have any questions, ask me."

His smile would soon fade, well he himself would fade as Suweh could soon see him appear in front of him. Grabbing her ear, he flung her outside of the window, knowing she would land on her feet. He was growing accustomed to doing that ^_^

As the room assumed its characteristic emptiness, Kami went through his list mentally to find Amatsu's name next.Taking in a deep breath he called out for her.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Kashiwa Amatsu.

When she entered, she would see him with a frown, hands crossed and eyes looking straight at hers, almost through her.

"Kashiwa Amatsu, you disappointed me today. After failing the last MiT exam I thought you would be able to fare exceptionally well on this one. But in the end you were below the cut off line.

You have heard this one before but, Kashiwa Amatsu you.... Pass!:

Kami broke out into a laugh almost immediately after he had unlocked the prank. Doing this was probably exorbitantly devilish, mean to another degree. She had worked hard for her rank and he knew that from the start. But everyone needed a laugh once in a while. Batman would be a madman without the Joker to balance his world, and so would Amatsu. The medical field often required stressful amounts of attention, Kami never really agreed to it but was forced to work hard, being a pediatrician wasn't that easy.

Finishing up what was left of his childish laughter he made a straight face. But after what preceded, he knew she wouldn't consider his straight face as anything more than another facade.

"You should start reading some books on medicine, but don't get too involved into it. Stop once in a while, go out and have some fun, it's just that I wouldn't want you to get overwhelmed by the field. Trust me it happens 99% of the time.

Oh and one more thing."

Kami's straight face relaxed as he began slowly moving his legs back and forth.

"Give me back my White Vest! When I gave it to you to wear home, it was to cover your blood stain, not to keep! These damn parents get nervous when they see their kid get treated by someone who has a normal Chuunin vest on."

Kami ended with a point to the door. He would converse, if he was allowed to. He needed to get the upper hospital back and running as soon as possible.

After she too was gone he regained his position as sole ruler of the room, contemplating a plot to confront Hibiki. After a moment of boredom-filled hesitation Kami called out for Hibiki.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oi Hibiki!"

When he would enter Kami would be sitting on the same desk, with a sort of bored expression on his face. Hibiki probably wouldn't listen to what Kami had to say next, but hey at least Kami had tried to help. How much intellect could a child doctor's word carry after all?

"Kiyokawa Hibiki, I find that you are unfit for this field...

You are smart, I'll give you that, but I doubt you would add anything to this hospital or the study of medicine in total mainly because being smart does nothing in the end if you don't know how to use it. My advise is to come over to this hospital and watch medics at work. Maybe then you can see the difference between smarts and intelligence. A genius isn't he who remembers the most, but he who can use his knowledge the best.

This might sound a bit philosophical or even stupid, but you'll become an MiT when you understand this."

Kami sincerely hoped he did. Though by now Kami could tell the boy hated him, Kami couldn't help it. In the process there would always be enemies and friends, Kami only prayed he had made more friends than enemies.

The Okara then lifted his hand and pointed at the door with a smile. He would have said You Failed or something, but found it hardly needed at the moment.

Hope ya'll had fun!

Little Hirosue was flying out the window.
Falling into the hospital's green meadow.
Little Hirosue landed on all her little fours.
Looked up the window at her scary course.

Little Suweh now wondered about those books.
Reading even one paragraph gave her the spooks.
Little Suweh smiled and rolled on the patch of grass.
Hugged Saya her friend, smiling all about the pass.
