Soon after his genin exam shinto walked alone angry at the fact he wasn't invited to celebrate passing the exam. It didn't take long before he spotted the Inn, he could smell the welcoming flavors that lingered just outside.
"This looks like a nice place to chill for a while"
Walking towards the Inn, Sliding back the thin paper door shinto was welcomed by what he assumed to be the owner, giving a nod and then ordering his Ramen, Shinto sat leaning on the counter resting his head on his hand, yawning deeply as he waited for his food to be served.
Almost everyone behind the counter had smiles on their faces to help bring in the customers. "Why do they have to smile like that all the time...no one is even coming in...that's so annoying", shinto couldn't help but think this.
After getting his food he sat alone with his hood up almost closing his eyes as he sat relaxed, eating his food slowly.
Little Hirosue was playing ball and catch.
Just under the big roof, covered with thatch.
Little Hirosue's kick struck the rubber ball.
Flying so fast, straight down through the hall.
Little Suweh's rubber ball bumped on a boy's head.
Dunked on to his bowl of ramen, bubbly like mead.
Little Suweh slowly peeked through the wooden door.
Searching for her ball, feet shuffling on the floor.

As shinto sat minding his own business when all of a sudden a ball comes flying into the Inn and bounced off his head then landing in his ramen.
shinto sat for a few seconds looking at the ball slowly spinning round in the bowl, thinking of how tipical it was for this to happen to him.
Picking the ball up with one hand holding it to his right, shinto stood up pulling down his hood to see who it was. For a few seconds it seemed like it came out of no ware, and then their she was little Hirosue peeking her head through the door, "hey you missy....is this yours, and what are the odds seeing you here".
Seeing a friendly face seemed to cheer up shinto a bit, throughin the ball back to her softly, he waits for her to catch it, "well are you just going to stand there are come sit down over here"
Shinto turning and half zipps up this jaket, before sitting down waiting for Hirosue to join him.
Little Hirosue blinked twice in surprise.
Now meeting Shinto, not once, but thrice.
Little Hirosue's mouth opened to make a reply.
Yet Shinto softly threw the ball and let it fly.
Little Suweh reacted with lightning reflexes.
Out came her foot, swung up like axes.
Little Suweh thought he knew the game of catch.
Out came the ball at his head, twice for a match.

As the ball come flying back at shinto, he started forcing little bone spikes out of his hand, ripped through his skin as small drops of blood hit the floor, it hurt, but he had to prove the point that he wanted to chill, as he catched the ball in his hand the small bone spikes popped the ball, as it slowly deflated shinto droped the ball on the floor.
"sorry Hirosue i'll buy you a new one....a better one, im just not in the mood, and please dont go in the huff I promise i'll buy you a new one"
Sitting back in his chair shinto cleaned his hand off as the blood dripped as he reversed the bones back into place.
"yeah about the bones in my hand moving like that, after getting a blood transfusion when i was in hospital werid things have been happening, dont realy want to talk about it"
still waiting in the chair for Hirosue to join him, as talking across the Inn was a bit odd.
Little Hirosue watched her ball burst and pop.
Deflated and wasted, Shinto let it fall a drop.
Little Hirosue stopped sucking on her green bib.
Hugging her little friend, Saya clung on her sleeve.
Little Suweh slowly sat one seat away.
Pouting and frowning, her feet did sway.
Little Suweh gently bit her lip as if to cry.
No more friendly rubber ball, why oh why?

shinto watched as Hirosue went off in a huff and sat a one seat away ."damn...shouldn't of done that".
Standing to his feet and sitting across from Hirosue. shinto could now see her starting to cry, "hey you...is this realy about the ball or is something else bothering you?, dont look so sad i have some good news i passed my exam im genin now".
Hoping that this would cheer her up shinto smiled, but not thinking that she isn't genin yet, and this would only upset her more, this was so naive of shinto, he didn't mean to rub it in.
Little Hirosue was just about to say "rubber ball."
Yet the genin issue hit her hard like a big maul.
Little Hirosue recovered with a smile, just a bit late.
Saying, "You're a genin now? Wow, that's... great."
Little Suweh tried to make a happy face.
Yet her heart beat sadly on a slow pace.
Little Suweh slowly made Saya sit on her lap.
Asking, "How was the exam? Did anyone flop?"

"Yeah i cannot believe it, I'm not sure who failed i did pay much attention, i think their was two."
Just after shinto spoke he realized that hirosue, still hasn't passed her exam yet, "how could i be so naive".
Thinking of a way to cheer her up, he thought some kind words will help, " your in the genin exam now? am sure you will pass also with no trouble". With a smile on his face shinto looked at his Ramen, he did care that a rubber ball that just landed in it, he starting to eat it any way.
